Programs
Companies can often receive financial support for new
activities in emerging markets. These programs each have
their own objectives, requirements and region of execution.
Below a brief overview of the various programs is displayed
the region where the activities take place.
Netherlands
Incentives
for entrepreneurs in the Netherlands focus mostly on
renewable energy and high tech development. The main
institutions are SenterNovem and regional (semi-) public
bodies. Examples of programs are the
VAMIL,
WBSO,
and
MIA
schemes. By clicking on the names you can get a rough
introduction of these programs.
Europe
The European Union encourages entrepreneurs in different
ways. The main programs include the
7th framework
arrangements, the
Structural Funds,
IPA
and
MATRA.
These programs cover diverse areas and target groups.
For a successful appeal, intensive preparation and
consultation with relevant bodies in Brussels is
required.
Emerging markets
Several
interesting programmes exist to support new activities in
emerging markets. Subsidy House has much experience with
the programs of the EVD, as
PSI,
PESP,
Asia Facility
and
CPA.
For projects in emerging markets, several development
banks offer financing programs too. Examples are
the
FMO
in The Hague and the
IFC
in Washington.
