Subsidy
House has experience and expertise in the following
sectors:
Agriculture
and Fisheries
In
many countries, agriculture is still the main source of
income. In some cases, the Dutch knowledge, for example in
the field of greenhouses is very useful in the development
of a local agricultural sector. In order to encourage
transfer of such knowledge various government programs
offer financial support. Subsidy House has been involved in
many projects in Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia in the
fields of agriculture and fisheries.
Energy
Because
of climate change, rising energy prices and increasing
economic activities across the world, sustainable energy
supply is high on the agenda in many countries. Given the
great importance governments all over the world place on
clean, locally produced power, many incentives to develop
projects in this area are available.
Water
Like
clean energy, clean (drinking) water is of great
importance. Many regions in the world, particularly
outside, but nowadays also in Europe suffer from serious
water problems. For the industry this provides
opportunities to export knowledge and skills around the
globe. In the Netherlands, the EU, and beyond funding is
available for improving the quality of the (drinking)
water.
ICT
and logistics
Global
ICT and logistics fulfil an important facilitating role in
enhancing the prosperity and economic growth. Currently
both these sectors are developing very fast causing great
social and environmental impact. Because of the importance
for society, entrepreneurs who are active in this field
developing new products and services can often receive
support when they want to develop new activities or want to
explore new markets.
